When another clinic has said it would be difficult
Even if you have been told that treatment is difficult because of a medical condition or insufficient bone, a detailed assessment can show what options are available.
Have you been told implants are not possible?
Patients are sometimes told implants are not feasible because too much bone has been lost, because the site is close to a nerve, or because of a medical condition such as diabetes or osteoporosis.
Even if you have been told implants are difficult, we will re-examine whether placement is possible, drawing on detailed assessment and accumulated clinical experience.
When treatment is possible despite a medical condition or osteoporosis
Treatment is possible with conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and in many cases with osteoporosis too, provided you have not been on long-term injectable medication. Even where bone loss has progressed to the root tip, bone grafting and implant placement can be carried out together.
CHECK POINT
For patients with osteoporosis, extraction or implant surgery may be restricted depending on the medication being taken. Outside a small very high-risk group, however, placement is often possible once appropriate precautions are taken.

Accurate assessment with precise equipment
We assess and analyse the case in more detail than for a routine implant patient.
Clinicians experienced with medically compromised patients
Because the technique is demanding, the director — experienced in treating patients with medical conditions — carries out the treatment personally.
Minimal incision, less bleeding and pain
Flapless or minimal-incision techniques allow safe treatment even for patients whose wounds heal slowly.
Care until the implant has settled
Closer aftercare than usual sees the treatment through to a stable result.
