If the colour or shape of your teeth concerns you, we first look at ways to improve them while preserving as much natural tooth as possible. Even where veneers are needed, minimal preparation for each case remains our principle.

What is an all-ceramic crown?
The tooth is completely covered, bringing protruding, chipped or heavily decayed teeth back into line. Because there is no metal inside, the restoration is translucent and lustrous — very close to a natural tooth — which is why it is often chosen for front teeth, where appearance matters most.

What are veneers?
A thin layer of the tooth surface is prepared, and a shell of ceramic — rather like an artificial fingernail — is bonded over it to give the tooth a new shape and colour. Very little tooth structure is removed, and the technique is used mainly on front teeth.

What is a zirconia crown?
The tooth is completely covered with a crown made from a synthetic diamond material. It is exceptionally strong and so natural in appearance that it is hard to tell apart from a real tooth.
Strong and long-lasting
The material is hard and durable, so it rarely chips.
Natural colour
Its colour closely resembles a natural tooth.
Preserves natural tooth
Because it is strong, it can be made thin, so less tooth is removed than with a conventional crown.
Low risk of adverse reactions
Unlike metal, it carries little risk of allergy and conducts heat poorly, so sensitivity is less common.
